Wannan Tang
Wannan Tang studied medicine in Xi’an, China (1998 – 2003), and Molecular Cellular Biology for her Master (2005) at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg, Germany. In 2009 she completed her PhD thesis entitled “New biological tools for genetic manipulation of the mouse brain” at the Max Plank Institute for Medical Research Heidelberg and Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg, Germany. In 2010, inspired from her lab work, she received the residency fellowship (discipline of art, science and business) in Akademie Schloss Solitude with topic of Scientific-Artistic Transformation. Two years after her residency stay at the Akademie Schloss solitude, she moved to Oslo, Norway, and started her research on neural-glia interaction in the University of Oslo. Currently she is a neuroscience researcher affiliated with Institute of Basic Medical Science, University of Oslo.
