Vanja Babić studied mechanical engineering at Polytechnic of Zagreb, graduated in 2008, and then studied multimedia/new media at the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb, where he graduated with special honor M. A. in 2013.

He is currently working as assistant lecturer at the department of animated film and new media at the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb. Vanja Babić collaborates with artist Bojan Mucko, presenting social interactive performance art. He is also part of a bigger art collective named PIT. They experiment with new media through their projects.
