Regina Dürig is a German writer, performer and an adjunct professor for Creative Writing at the Bern University of the Arts. She closely collaborates with the musician Christian Müller in the stories & sounds duo Butterland and with artists from other fields (dance, illustration, voice). She writes for kids, teens and adults, is a recipient of the Peter-Härtling-Preis, Literaturpreis Wartholz, Literaturpreis des Kantons Bern and a finalist for Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis and Schweizer Kinder- und Jugendmedien-Preis. She lives in Biel, Switzerland.
