Nadia Mounier was born in Cairo. She is a visual artist interested in photography and image theory. She is a member of Cairo Bats Collective. Her work is concerned with the circulation of images between different contexts and their effect on our self perception. Mounier currently lives and works in Alexandria.

Nadia Mounier was a fellow in cooperation with Goethe-Institut and Hellerau –Europäisches Zentrum der Künste Dresden.
