Maayan Danoch is an artist, choreographer and dancer, working and living in Israel and Germany. Intrigued by the illusive nature of perception, by the gap between »what is« and »what we perceive/assume of it«, she explores ways of opening, juxtaposing or colliding multiple viewpoints in a single composition. She relates her practice to the process of unraveling the poetic potential of an object and works with different media such as performance, photography, video and poetry. Maayan is a guest teacher in dance universities and centres in Zagreb/Croatia, Kassel/Germany and Bat Yam/Israel.
