Kai Linke is currently living and working in Frankfurt am Main/Germany. In 2001 he studied architecture at the Technische Universität in Darmstadt/Germany before he changed to the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach in 2002, where he studied product design. In 2005 he received a fellowship from the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes. In 2008, he graduated from the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach in design.

One year later he founded STUDIO KAI LINKE. His activities include the design of objects for the public space, exhibitions and interior-objects as well as lights and furniture for international producers.
