Johanna Markert

Stuttgart/Germany — Art coordination, Solitude fellow 2017-2019

Johanna Markert works as an independent artist and curator. Coming from a background in fine art and literature, her approach is driven by an interest that oscillates between narratology, storytelling and artistic practice. She codirects the nonprofit organization anorak with Lukas Ludwig and Florian Model. From 2016–2018 Johanna was co-curator of »Techne,« a production platform by experimental theater Rampe and Künstlerhaus Stuttgart, where she curated the exhibition »Techne and the Decency of Means« together with Fatima Hellberg.
