Elisa Band was born in 1974, in São Paulo, Brazil. She is a performer, director, researcher, teacher, and writer. She has been performing, creating, and collaborating since 1998 in many performances, theater pieces, dance, and music, in Brazil and other countries. In 2015 she published a book of short stories titled Perecíveis.
