Cristina Vidruțiu is a researcher and writer interested in the relation between illness and narrative from a interdisciplinary point of view. She received her PhD in comparative literature with a dissertation on »Epidemic Imaginary: Historical and Metaphorical Representations of Plague in Literature.« She was a fellow of the Dino Buzzati International Association (2015), a fellow of the Museum of Romanian Literature (2015), and a fellow of the Romanian Academy in Rome (2012-2014).
