Every year, the Akademie Schloss Solitude cordially invites everybody to the famous Summer Feast. This year, the first time for the new director Elke aus dem Moore, everybody spent a lovely summer evening around the Japanese temple around the linden tree in the courtyard of the Akademie.
Current fellows from Egypt, Australia, Brazil, Germany, India, Croatia, Austria, Hungary, Turkey and the USA contributed to the program with exhibitions, installations, performances and readings. Many of them opened their studios to give an insight into their artistic work.
The motto of the evening »Love Is Reality« was shaped by the voguing performance »Pose for Me« by Shaka McGlotten and Georgina Leo Melody who later in the evening, together with other international guests performed this urban dance form in front of the castle.
