Hadja-Saran Condé, Paris/France — Design, Solitude fellow, 2017–2019

Hadja Saran Conde’s work addresses themes related to identity through a reinterpretation of past and current banknotes and/or stamps, with the tools of graphic design. It uses the iconography of these official prints to raise questions about the representation of social and cultural matters, but also power balance.
