    Elmar Mellert works as an artist, curator and DJ. In his work he reflects on the formation of political and psychological identities considering the deriving impact of power machineries and their influence on the individual. Elmar Mellert is a founder of the music and art cooperative »15minutesmotelboys« and co-directed the project space »Palermo«. He published the artist book »A fountain of spraying crystal erupted around us« with Edition Taube Verlag and contributed with photographs to the publication »von Heubach«. Elmar Mellert is studying at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart and is a scholar of »Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes«.
