Lindsay Foster, Los Angeles/USA — Time-based Media, Solitude fellow 2011–2013
Lindsay Foster (born in Seattle, Washington) is a visual artist whose work explores belonging, isolation, and the space between – the ambiguities of interacting, connecting, and communicating. She earned her MFA in photo media from CalArts and her BA in sociology from University of Puget Sound. She is a former fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude and is a currently a visiting professor at Siena College. Her work has recently been shown at The American Psychological Association, Washington DC, USA; Projektraum LOTTE Stuttgart, Germany; Kunsthalle Athena, Athens, Greece; Künstlerhaus Stuttgart, Germany; Wellesley College, Wellesley Mass, USA.
