Marina Gioti is a filmmaker/visual artist born and based in Athens, Greece. With cinema at the core of her interdisciplinary practice, Gioti explores cinematic narrative, techniques and aesthetics across media, through her videos, installations and media art works. Her work has been screened and exhibited worldwide at both international film festivals and museums/biennials. In 2017 she was a participating artist at documenta 14, with her debut feature film, »The Invisible Hands«. The film will have its International Premiere at the Forum Expanded of the forthcoming Berlinale.
