Jelena Savic (1981) is a performer, blogger, and activist of Roma origin and born in Belgrade/Serbia. Jelena holds a BA in Adult Education and is currently doing an MA in Philosophy at Central European University, Budapest. Jelena’s poetry was published among other publications in the »Cat Painters: An Anthology of Contemporary Serbian Poetry«, eds. D.Djuric, B.D.Obradovic, Dialogos, New Orleans, and translated in different languages. She publishes her work on usernameka.wordpress.com, usernamekaspoetry.wordpress and stripstripu.wordpress.com. She is interested in philosophy of science, epistemology, social movements studies, critical race theory, Roma rights, feminist studies, politics and sociology of art.
